The competition's first trip to the West Coast is set to be an exciting one as it showcases former number-one seed from Monologue Madness DC in 2019, Thony Mena, headlining a field of talent which also includes Monologue Madness DC 2012 Champion, Aviva Pressman and Cameron Lopez, Runner-Up at the Monologue Madness 2020 Quarantine Challenge. 110 actors registered for this past weekend's open call, screened by acting coach Louis Stancil of LS Acting Studios Hollywood and Dr. Gail Humphries, Dean of The College of Fellows of the American Theatre.
The 32 actors who've made the cut now have two weeks to prepare as they take to the stage, to compete head-to-head, throughout five rounds before a new panel of industry judges, for the chance to take home a $1000 prize.
This year's LA event will be judged by Dionne Audain (Grey's Anatomy, Station 19, S.W.A.T., How to Get Away with Murder), Michael Sanford (Sanford Casting), Sam Weiner (City Media Entertainment), and Maria Breese (3:33 Creative, New Girl, Shameless, Teacher's Watching).
